About this role
POSITION: Substitute Paraeducator SCHOOL: Districtwide GENERAL DUTIES:
• Assist students with classroom assignments under the direction of the teacher.
• Support students individually or in small groups to help them stay engaged.
• Monitor students in various school settings, including classrooms, hallways, lunchrooms, playgrounds, and buses.
• Assist students with special needs in daily activities.
• Help manage student behavior through reinforcement strategies and redirection.
• Communicate observations of student progress or challenges to appropriate schol personnel.
• Adhere to school policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
• Demonstrate professionalism and flexibility in various assignments.
• Follow directions from teachers and school administrators.
