About this role
Qualifications:
• Must hold a Commercial Driver's License with school bus, passenger, and air brake endorsements.
• A minimum of five years' experience as a school bus driver with a minimum three years' experience as a school bus driver trainer preferred.
• Must hold current certification from the Virginia Department of Education as a school bus driver trainer.
• Must hold, or obtain within ninety (90) days of employment, third party tester certification from the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, for school bus, passenger, and air brakes.
• Must meet all requirements to drive a school bus for Frederick County Public Schools.
Pay Rate: C6C Salary Scale (credit is based on years of full-time experience in a related position) Assignment: Full time / 12 months / 245 days Start Date: This position is effective with the 2026-2027 school year
