About this role
Blessed Sacrament School and Early Childhood Center (ECC), a Catholic preK-8 school located in Alexandria, Virginia, is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Preschool Instructional Assistant to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year! Our Instructional Assistants work alongside lead teachers to create a joyful, nurturing classroom where our youngest students can learn, play, and grow. This role includes supporting classroom activities and small-group learning, as well as helping with the daily care and supervision of students. We are looking for someone who:

Experience with preschool-aged children is preferred. Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m., with the possibility of additional days or hours. Pay: $16–$20/hour, based on education and experience. This is a 10-month position.
