About this role
Part time - 14 hours/week
• Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and moving Chromebooks, personal computers, peripherals, network printers and other network equipment in MS Windows and Google Apps environments.
• Performing analytical problem solving and planning for a diverse customer base including, students, teachers, assorted support staff and administrators.
• Testing fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved
• Handling general Help Desk requests including those related to software
• Troubleshooting network performance and connectivity issues and running and terminating network wiring
• Maintaining inventory tracking and Help Desk ticketing system
• Maintaining both verbal and written positive communication.
• Maintaining a neat and clean work area, and well-organized filing system.
• Being flexible in work schedule based on district need
• Performing other duties as required to meet departmental and organizational objectives.
• At least two years of experience in updating, troubleshooting, repairing and rebuilding Chromebooks and networked personal computers, including installing and configuring related software and peripherals. • Familiarity with computer imaging practices.
• Familiarity with MS operating systems and applications.
