About this role
PURPOSE: The Club Sponsor/Intramural Coach provides structure and oversight for students to learn and grow outside of the classroom and/or develop skills in sport specific activities. REPORTS TO: Building Principal and Athletic/Activity Director PAY RATE: According to Negotiated Agreement: All Club Sponsors and Intramural Coaches will work with the Athletic/Activities Director to set their season or meeting dates and times to ensure that the activity is being run in a manner that is commensurate to the stipend pay percentage. TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: As required by the club/activity set by the sponsor/coach and athletic/activities director. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field preferred. Valid Kansas drivers' license. EXPERIENCE: Experience supervising students. GENERAL EXPECTATIONS: Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors, co-workers, and students. Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions. Ability to perform responsibilities without necessity of close supervision. Ability to effectively communicate with the school district community. Ability to meet attendance standards to perform the essential functions of the job. Ability to maintain a generally positive attitude.
