TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (TQs): Your resume should demonstrate accomplishments that would satisfy the technical qualifications: TQ #1: National Leadership in USW Electromagnetic Maneuver Technologies & Systems Ability to provide national leadership and authoritative technical direction and advocacy for the development and integration of novel USW Electromagnetic Maneuver Warfare Systems and technologies in collaboration with industry, NR&DE, UARCs, and Fleet partners. TQ #2: Delivery and Transition of USW Electromagnetic Maneuver Capabilities Ability to plan, lead, and technically supervise efforts that rapidly transition and deliver complex electromagnetic maneuver systems, including electronic warfare, imaging, and communications systems, antennas, and sensors, to support fielding of capabilities on undersea manned and unmanned platforms on a timeline responsive to emerging detection and spectrum access threats. Major DutiesYou will serve as primary Navy advisor and USW Electromagnetic Systems SME. Focus on electronic warfare, electro-optics, antennas, and sensing systems. Collaborate directly with the Director of USW Communications Systems.You will assess future USW Electromagnetics mission needs and develop technological plans to address them. Provide senior leadership and cross-agency coordination to execute plans and deliver completed systems to the Fleet.You will manage the full spectrum of USW Electronic Maneuver Warfare RDTE. Initiate, plan, and coordinate multiple program elements focused on electronic warfare, electro-optics, antenna, and sensor systems.You will ensure Research and Development programs are responsive to changing Fleet requirements and evolving threats, and will document plans in technology / capability roadmaps.You will lead novel USW Electronic Maneuver R and D, advancing spectrum agility across surveillance, EW, and communication to maximize submarine stealth and performance.
