QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Directing and overseeing the planning, scheduling and execution of nuclear production work applicable to ship availability. Planning, scheduling and execution of nuclear production work in the overhaul, repair, modification and conversion of nuclear ships. Experience in technical specifications and work practices associated with the overhaul, repair, modification of nuclear ships. Major DutiesYou will serve as second level supervisor over work operations in support of naval nuclear ship repair, maintenance, modernization, and overhaul.You will plan, coordinate, and direct a variety of related work operations or functions of subordinate employees through subordinate supervisors/leaders.You will analyze present and future work schedules, determine the manpower, material, equipment, training, methods and other requirements needed to perform the work.You will determine work requirements by setting deadlines, sequence of operations, and standards of quality and quantity.You will carry out and communicate support of EEO policies to lower-level employees. Assure equality on determining qualifications, selections, assignments, trainings, promotions, and other personnel actions.
