Job SummaryYou will serve as a Supervisory General Engineer in the Rapid Capability Engineering Group of NAWCAD WEBSTER OUTLYING FIELD.
QualificationsIn Addition to meeting the Basic Educational Requirements: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Serving as the portfolio lead for organic product development projects, responsible for the supervision and technical leadership of employees; 2) Providing expert technical direction and leadership for a staff of engineers, technicians, IT professionals, and business support personnel executing organic product development efforts; 3) Managing priorities and developing tactical resource plans to facilitate project execution for a technical portfolio; and 4) Serving as the lead technical authority and providing project planning and management for the portfolio of work supporting the design, development, integration, testing, and installation of organically developed solutions. Major DutiesYou will plan work and prepares performance plans covering work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.You will evaluate work performance of subordinates and recommends official performance ratings.You will make appropriate distinctions in levels of performance while equitably applying performance standards.You will hear and resolve complaints from employees, referring group grievances and more serious unresolved complaints to a higher level supervisor or manager.
