Job SummaryYou will serve as a MARINE MACHINERY MACHANIC SUPERVISOR in the PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.

Major DutiesYou will plan the division of workload among subordinate employees.You will coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities and directing the work of subordinate employees.You will determine what materials and equipment will be needed and arrange for their requisition and required services from other shops.You will supervise work that includes installation, troubleshooting, modifying and repair on various mechanical systems and components.You will inspect work in progress and upon completion to ensure quality control, efficiency and safety operations.You will resolve working problems and take necessary corrective action to overcome delays.You will enforce command safety and programs and advise on the use of safety equipment.You will be responsible for training of subordinates in work methods, procedures and the proper use of tolls and equipment.
