Major DutiesYou will layout, connect and disconnect temporary electric power lines from dock power supply to ship’s shore power terminals.You will lay out, make temporary installations, connect and disconnect Shipyard provided temporary lighting circuits and various blower, pump and other accessory electrical equipment circuits.You will maintain and operate drydock and marine railway electrical equipment. Install and remove temporary ventilation systems and issues Grade “A” Pure water.You will perform maintenance and security watch inspections on operational and stationary equipment at various graving docs and caissons to assure continuous operation of certain automatically operated equipment.You will operate drydock equipment when necessary to perform casualty control as outlined in the Drydock Operating Procedures.
