Job Title: Production WorkerJob DescriptionThe Production Worker plays a key role in building high-quality marine composite products by following detailed blueprints and work instructions, performing precise trimming and assembly, and ensuring that all components meet strict quality and safety standards. This role involves hands-on work with fiberglass, lamination, and various tools in a busy production environment, while collaborating with team members to support efficient workflow and meet production goals.Responsibilities

• Review blueprints and follow detailed work instructions for each composite part to ensure accurate production. • Trim, assemble, and finish composite components to exact specifications using appropriate tools and techniques. • Inspect parts for accuracy, structural integrity, and surface quality, and address any defects or inconsistencies. • Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition by cleaning, storing, and reporting any issues promptly. • Document work activities and production details according to company guidelines and procedures. • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to lamination-area protocols. • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to support production flow and maintain quality standards. • Take direction from team leads and collaborate closely with teammates to meet production goals and deadlines. • Perform grinding, chipping, and other finishing tasks on composite parts as needed. • Assist with pouring materials into molds and participating in various stages of boat building, including fiberglass work and lamination. • Adapt to cross-training opportunities across different tasks and teams within the production process. Essential Skills

• Experience or strong interest in hands-on production work such as grinding, assembly, or construction-related tasks. • Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively for trimming, grinding, and assembly work. • Comfort working with fiberglass, lamination, and other composite materials in a marine or similar environment. • Ability to stand and walk for 8 or more hours per shift and regularly bend, lift, and twist. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday. • Dependable attendance and reliability in meeting scheduled work hours. • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and processes. • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to follow instructions accurately and work cooperatively with others. • Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and detailed work instructions. • Attention to detail when inspecting parts for quality and adherence to specifications. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred. • Experience or interest in boats, marine products, or carpentry. • Comfort working in dusty, loud, and non-climate-controlled environments. • Ability to adapt to cross-training in different aspects of boat building, including molds, chipping, grinding, fiberglass, and lamination. • Willingness to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses and respirators, when required. The environment includes dust, noise, and mild odors from paint and lamination processes. Some workers wear full personal protective equipment and respirators, while most wear safety glasses as standard protection. The setting is active and fast-paced, with a focus on safety, proper tool use, and adherence to established production and lamination protocols. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moncks Corner, SC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
