Mig Welder | 1st shift | $17-`19/hr Job DescriptionPerform welding, flange line work, fabrication, and production activities. This role supports the safe and efficient assembly and fabrication of components, contributing directly to high-quality output and smooth manufacturing operations.Responsibilities
• Perform welding tasks on various components in accordance with production specifications and safety standards. • Support flange line operations, including preparation, alignment, and assembly of parts. • Carry out fabrication work such as cutting, fitting, and assembling metal and other materials to meet design requirements. • Operate manufacturing machinery and equipment safely and efficiently as part of the production process. • Assist with general assembly tasks, ensuring components are correctly fitted and finished. • Follow work instructions, blueprints, or production plans to complete jobs accurately and on time. • Use power tools and hand tools appropriately to support fabrication, assembly, and machine operation. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to facility safety and housekeeping standards. • Monitor equipment and materials during production and report any issues or defects promptly. • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and support continuous improvement. Multiple shift options are available, including first shift positions from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break and from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The environment is production-focused, with regular opportunities for overtime. Team members work around industrial machinery and fabrication equipment and should be prepared for an active, shop-floor setting with appropriate work attire suitable for welding, fabrication, and machine operation. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chickasha, OK. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
