Job Title: AssemblerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team, working Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm. In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical and electronic assembly of products designed for cutting or testing fiber optic cables. You will work from complex instructions to assemble small, detailed mechanical components and perform minor wiring tasks. Responsibilities • Interpret complex work instructions for the assembly of units. • Utilize small hand tools to assemble units. • Train on new processes and assemblies. • Communicate effectively with peers and support personnel. • Assemble small mechanical components. • Perform basic wiring of units. • Demonstrate high attention to detail. Essential Skills • Ability to interpret complex work instructions. • Experience with hand and measuring tools. • Capability to pick up and be trained on new assemblies and processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in technical mechanical assembly with a background in working from work instructions. • Prior experience in electronics or a technical company. • Attention to detail. • Experience with board testing, soldering, and electrical assembly is a plus. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, OR. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
