Job Title: Material HandlerJob DescriptionThe Material Handler is responsible for the movement, storage, and distribution of materials throughout the facility. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring materials are delivered accurately and efficiently to meet production demands and that inventory is maintained in an organized and reliable manner. Responsibilities • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials and supplies in designated storage areas. • Pick, pack, and deliver materials to production departments in a timely and accurate manner. • Maintain accurate inventory records and transactions using inventory management systems and RF scanners. • Perform regular cycle counts and assist with inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy. • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, if certified, in a safe and efficient manner. • Load and unload deliveries safely, ensuring materials are handled and stored properly. • Organize stockroom and warehouse areas to maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient work environment. • Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures and guidelines at all times. • Work closely with Production, Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory teams to support day-to-day operational needs. Essential Skills • Experience with material handling in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. • Ability to perform inventory-related tasks, including cycle counting and maintaining accurate inventory records. • Proficiency using RF scanners and inventory management systems. • Hands-on experience with warehouse activities such as picking, packing, loading, and unloading materials. • Ability to operate pallet jacks and, if certified, forklifts safely and efficiently. • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in material movement and inventory transactions. • Ability to follow established safety, quality, and company procedures consistently. • Effective collaboration skills to work with Production, Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory teams. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting. • Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes. • Comfort working with inventory systems and basic warehouse documentation. • Organizational skills to maintain a clean and orderly stockroom and warehouse. • Forklift certification is a plus for operating powered industrial trucks. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Wilsonville, OR. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.20/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
