Aureol Global Connections is hiring for CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Punch Laser Operators on behalf of Kel-Tech Engineering (Waterford) Limited of Unit 37-38, Waterford Industrial Park, Cork Road, Co Waterford X91 XYN5. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas: operating and programming CNC Laser and Punch machines, working with sheet metal in a manufacturing environment, and producing high-quality components to precise specifications. The role involves setting up machinery, selecting and loading materials and tooling, adjusting machine settings to optimise production, and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Responsibilities include carrying out quality inspections using precision measuring equipment such as callipers, micrometres, and gauges, performing test runs, troubleshooting minor mechanical and programming issues, and completing routine machine maintenance checks. The successful candidate will maintain accurate production and maintenance records, follow all health and safety procedures, and work closely with supervisors and colleagues to ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved. Technical aptitude, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement are essential for this role.
