POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review daily schedules to identify in-clinic providers Obtain and document vital signs; report abnormal findings to providers Perform and document urine drug screens (UDS) per protocol Prepare and assist with tele-psychiatry appointments Assist providers and nursing staff with clinical documentation and workflow Administer medications and injections as directed; monitor patient response Participate in Suboxone induction and Spravato administration processes Verify lab orders, perform lab draws, and document results Assist with medication refills and coordinate with pharmacies Communicate with patients regarding care plans, follow-ups, and medications Monitor and respond to clinic messages and patient inquiries in a timely manner Facilitate patient access to wrap-around and support services Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation Support clinic flow, including walk-in patients and urgent needs Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical and treatment areas.
Must be a high school graduate or have HS equivalent
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Knowledge of HIPAA, patient confidentiality, and compliance requirements Document activities, write reports, business correspondence and procedure manual. Knowledge of behavioral health conditions, including SMI and co-occurring disorders Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment. Ability to recognize and report abnormal findings. Strong documentation and data entry skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and clinic demands. Skilled in phlebotomy and specimen collection. Effective communication and patient interaction skills
EXPERIENCE: Previous experience working with clients with mental illness and or substance abuse is preferred. Skills in planning, organizing, and applying nursing care techniques working with clients with mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
Must possess a valid Driver License and satisfactory driving record and use personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office. Proof of automobile insurance required.
CMA, RMA or CNA Certification required
