Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Purchasing Assistant, you’re not just supporting the Manager in overseeing procurement operations – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day: • Source and purchase food, beverages, and hospitality supplies • Identify and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices • Compare quotations and evaluate suppliers • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely deliveries • Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation related to Food Safety • Coordinate with the kitchen, operations, and finance teams • Ensure purchased items meet quality standards and company requirements
What we are looking for:
• Previous purchasing experience in the hospitality/F&B industry/Engineering Department • Good knowledge of local suppliers and market prices • Strong negotiation and communication skills • Excellent organizational and time-management skills • Good knowledge of MS Office and purchasing systems • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
