JOB DUTIES
• Responsible for the delivery of excellent customer service.
• Process new prescriptions and/or refills, updates the computerized record system and ensures the accuracy of medications dispensed for the distribution to patients.
• Ensure the appropriate drug therapy for patients.
• Respond to enquiries from healthcare staff and patients on medications and/or drug administration and make recommendations.
• Participate in educational projects/studies/and promotions.
• Maintain count of narcotic, controlled drugs, prescription and non -prescription drugs and pertinent records.
• Maintain stock medication and pharmacy inventory and ensure shipment of medications and other items.
• Review and order drugs and stock as assigned.
• Update and maintain drug destruction and expiry files.
• Train and supervise pharmacy assistants and pharmacy technicians as assigned.
• Reviews insurance claims and rejections as assigned.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in using computers and pharmacy software (for example QS1 or Nexus or Koroll)
MINIMUM EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar setting
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or higher
• Eligible/or licensed to practice Pharmacy in the Cayman Islands
WORK HOURS
40 hour work week. Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and flexible hours if required.
COMPENSATION
CI$65K per annum, starting rate.
Only qualified candidates will be shortlisted. CI$65K per annum, DOE.
