General Information: The Industrial Engineer – Facilities is responsible for applying industrial engineering principles, data analysis, and strategic planning methods to optimize facility operations, space utilization, infrastructure capacity, and long-term manufacturing growth. This role serves as the primary Industrial Engineering resource for facility-related projects, including facility master planning, production line installations, relocations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your Responsibilities: Lead facility layout planning and space utilization studies. Perform facility capacity analyses and identify infrastructure constraints affecting future business growth. Develop and maintain facility master plans and drawings. Serve as the project manager for facility-related initiatives, including new production line installations, equipment relocations, and decommissioning projects. Apply Lean Manufacturing principles and drive factory improvement initiatives through data analysis while optimizing material and product flow. Maintain project schedules, documentation, drawings, and project approvals and communication records in a structured and organized system. Support the development and execution of 3-year, 5-year, and long-range facility strategic roadmaps. Partner with internal stakeholders to define project requirements, establish priorities, and track key performance indicators (KPIs). Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership teams. Provide data-driven recommendations and executive-level reporting to support business decisions. Develop and maintain facility drawings, space allocation maps, and utilization models. Create facility performance metrics, dashboards, and visual management tools using Power BI or similar platforms. Support facility planning, bids, proposals, and infrastructure assessments for new business opportunities. Work with contractors and project teams. Your Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field. Minimum of 3 years of relevant industrial engineering, facility planning, or manufacturing experience. Strong analytical, organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Knowledge of facility layout planning, space optimization, and capacity analysis. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Power BI, or equivalent engineering and visualization tools. Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 skills. Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments. Experience developing factory layouts and facility master plans. Experience of capacity planning, simulation modeling, and scenario analysis. Experience with SAP and integrated planning systems. Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or related process improvement experience. Experience presenting recommendations and project updates to senior leadership.
