Job Title: Inventory WorkerJob DescriptionThis role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory through daily physical cycle counts, data entry, and material handling in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will support production by ensuring parts are correctly identified, stored, and available when needed, while developing your leadership skills to help guide the inventory department over time.Responsibilities
• Perform daily physical cycle counts of inventory and report findings to the inventory supervisor. • Accurately enter inventory data into Excel and inventory management systems. • Use a computer to identify and print pick lists to support production needs. • Verify part numbers, quantities, locations, and work orders to ensure inventory accuracy. • Utilize hand carts, bins, and automatic and manual pallet jacks to move and handle materials safely. • Walk up and down stairs regularly to retrieve and deliver necessary parts from the warehouse area. • Ensure production needs are met on time by maintaining proper material flow and inventory availability. • Lead by example in daily tasks to support team performance and operational efficiency. • Develop under the guidance of a supervisor with the goal of taking on greater responsibility within the inventory department. • Support order picking and packing activities as needed to meet customer and production requirements. This position operates on a 1st shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
