Now Hiring: CNC Machinists - Middletown, PA Shift: 1stSchedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PMPosition Overview We're seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join a precision manufacturing team specializing in low-volume, high-mix production. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced setup machinist who enjoys working with tight tolerances, varied part runs, and a collaborative shop environment. Key Responsibilities
• Set up and operate CNC vertical and horizontal milling machines. • Perform complete machine setups and run production parts independently. • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions. • Verify part quality using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools. • Apply shop math and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure accuracy. • Operate CNC equipment utilizing Fanuc controls. • Collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain workflow and meet customer specifications. • Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary machine adjustments. Required Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of CNC setup experience. • Experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines. • Strong understanding of machining practices and blueprint reading. • Proficient with precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers. • Working knowledge of GD&T and shop mathematics. • High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with CNC programming. • Familiarity with both vertical and horizontal machining centers. • Experience in precision manufacturing or custom machining environments. • Experience working with tight-tolerance componentsMach Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Middletown, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
