• Assemble electrical switchgear cabinets and mechanical components using blueprints, assembly drawings, and work orders. • Build modular steel cabinets and copper bus assemblies to customer specifications. • Gather and organize materials, hardware, and components needed for each project. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to complete assemblies accurately and efficiently. • Read tape measures and perform precise measurements throughout the build process. • Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet company and customer standards. • Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and production schedules. • Collaborate with fabrication, welding, wiring, and production teams to deliver high-quality finished products. What We're Looking For
• At least 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly, machine building, automotive repair, or a similar hands-on role. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and schematics. • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. • Knowledge of electrical symbols and schematics is a plus. • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. • Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements. • Effective communication skills in English. • Technical school training or a high school diploma is preferred but not required. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
