Job Title: Shift WelderJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Fabricator/TIG Welder with expertise in welding stainless steel and mild steel of varying thicknesses. The ideal candidate will be able to read blueprints and perform MIG welding. A welding test will be required during the interview process. Responsibilities • Weld stainless steel and mild steel components with varying thicknesses using TIG and MIG welding techniques. • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate and precise welds. • Perform fabrication and welding tasks as required in a production environment. • Ensure high-quality welds that meet industry standards. Essential Skills • Proficiency in TIG welding. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints. • 1-3 years of welding experience. • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively. • Possession of personal welding gear. Work EnvironmentThe role is situated in a manufacturing setting with departments such as shipping, brake press, welding, and assembly across multiple buildings. The position is for the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 6 AM to 2:30 PM. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
