Job Title: Machine OperatorJob DescriptionAs an Equipment Operator, you will set up and operate production machines to cut, bend, straighten, or form parts as specified by blueprints, lay-up sequence, and/or templates. You will perform preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting. This role requires operating at least three pieces of equipment, including shear, punch press, break press, saw, drill press, and roller.Responsibilities
• Set up and operate production machines to cut, bend, straighten, or form parts. • Perform preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting on machines. • Operate at least three pieces of equipment, such as shear, punch press, break press, saw, drill press, and roller. • Perform manufacturing inspection and maintain quality standards. • Load, unload, and palletize materials. • Utilize overhead cranes and inspect equipment as needed. • Read and interpret blueprints accurately. Essential Skills
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production environment. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints. • Proficiency in operating three equipment types: press break, shear, punch press, saw drill press, or roller. • Understanding of technical aspects of the job. • Ability to follow verbal and simple written instructions and procedures. • Accurate measurement skills. • Capacity to safely and efficiently perform all essential functions. • Ability to follow directions and maintain a professional work environment. • Good communication skills and teamwork abilities. • Regular and predictable attendance. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Industrial Manufacturing experience. • Experience working in a non-climate controlled facility. • Prior production line experience. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
