Job Title: Traveling Pipefitter Apprenticeship ( Travel required) Pay:
• $25.00 per hour • Overtime and Perdiem offered Job Description:We are seeking motivated individuals who are interested in building a long-term career in the skilled trades. As a Pipefitter Helper, you will assist experienced pipefitters in installing fire suppression sprinkler systems in commercial construction projects, including apartment buildings, senior living facilities, hotels, restaurants, and other commercial properties.Responsibilities: Assist with the installation of fire sprinkler systems Move materials and equipment throughout job sites Hang hardware and supports Cut pipe, ceiling tile, and ceiling hardware Use hand tools safely and effectively Follow directions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople Maintain a safe and organized work environment Travel to various job sites as neededQualifications: 1-2 years of construction or landscaping experience. Ability to read a tape measure and experience using hand tools Willingness to travel and stay overnight when requiredSchedule: Typically, four 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday Overtime available based on project needs Additional Friday hours may be required Overtime opportunities availablePer Diem Schedule: 60-125 miles from residence: $30/day 125-300 miles from residence: $60/day 300-500 miles from residence: $75/day Over 500 miles from residence: $85/dayBenefits: Career advancement into a skilled trade Hands-on training and mentorship Profit-sharing opportunities 401(k) with company match Additional profit-sharing contributions Employee ownership-style program Consistent overtime opportunities PPE provided, including a hard hat and safety vest Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $37.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
