Material Handler 📍 Anoka, MN💲 Pay: $20.00 - $22.85/hr🕒 1st, 2nd, 3rd & Weekend Shift Openings Available Contract-to-Hire Opportunity Job Overview We are seeking motivated Material Handlers to support production operations in a large manufacturing and warehouse environment. In this role, you will be responsible for picking, staging, and transporting parts and materials throughout the facility to ensure production teams have everything needed to build products efficiently. This position involves extensive walking, material handling, inventory support, and learning to operate warehouse equipment. Responsibilities
• Pick and stage parts and materials for production orders. • Retrieve inventory from warehouse locations and deliver materials to production areas. • Transport materials using carts, pallet jacks, tuggers, and other warehouse equipment. • Operate cherry pickers and lifts to retrieve inventory from elevated storage locations. • Assist with receiving, stocking, and inventory replenishment activities. • Learn and operate stand-up forklifts and other material handling equipment. • Maintain accurate inventory and work order documentation. • Follow all safety policies and procedures. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment. • Support production teams by ensuring parts are delivered accurately and on time. Qualifications Required
• Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience. • Experience with order picking, stocking, shipping, receiving, or material handling. • Ability to walk up to 5 miles per day. • Ability to stand throughout the shift. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (most lifts are 20-30 lbs.). • Comfortable working in steel-toed boots. • Basic reading and writing skills for inventory and work order documentation. • Willingness to learn forklift and warehouse equipment operation. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred
• Previous forklift experience. • Manufacturing or production environment experience. • Experience operating pallet jacks, tuggers, lifts, or cherry pickers. • Experience in large warehouse operations. • Shipping, receiving, and inventory control experience. Pay & Schedule 1st Shift 🕒 Monday - Friday | 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM💲 $20.00/hr 2nd Shift 🕒 Monday - Friday | 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM💲 $22.25/hr 3rd Shift 🕒 Sunday - Thursday | 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM💲 $22.00/hr Weekend Shift 🕒 Friday - Sunday or Saturday - Monday | 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM💲 $22.85/hr Work 36 hours in 3 daysMandatory overtime may be required depending on production needs.
