Job Title: Electronics Technician Level IIIJob DescriptionWe are seeking an Electronics Technician Level III to join our team. This role involves repairing, overhauling, and testing aircraft electrical components and subcomponents, primarily focusing on circuit boards. The position offers a day shift and is a nine-month contract to hire opportunity. Responsibilities • Repair, overhaul, and test aircraft electrical components and subcomponents as required by work orders. • Troubleshoot, diagnose, disassemble, assemble, repair, and test electronic assemblies and subassemblies to the component level. • Exercise independent judgment in circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, and tracing signal flow relationships. • Utilize complex test instruments such as digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and high-frequency pulse generators. • Disassemble, prepare, and inspect components, subassemblies, and final assemblies, verifying completeness for final inspection and shipping. • Utilize test equipment like system-level return to service equipment and subassembly component level devices to locate and identify malfunctions. • Use a variety of hand and power equipment for tasks such as soldering, desoldering, crimping, and component insertion and extraction. • Support the Quality System by adhering to procedures, documenting records, and meeting AS-9100 and AS-9110 regulations. Essential Skills • 4+ years of component level troubleshooting and repair experience. • Ability to read and interpret schematics. • Experience with circuit board test equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Associates Degree in an electronic-related field is preferred. Work EnvironmentThe facility is clean and temperature-controlled, offering bench work alongside approximately 20 technicians. The role requires adherence to AS-9100 standards and includes FAA safety-sensitive drug testing. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Solon, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
