Job Title: Forklift Operator - Afternoon ShiftJob DescriptionThis role is based in a tire distribution warehouse and focuses on safely and efficiently operating reach forklifts to handle, store, and move tire inventory. You will use an RF scanner to process incoming deliveries, verify accuracy, and place products into the correct racking locations while meeting established productivity targets.Responsibilities

• Operate reach forklifts and stand-up forklifts to move, store, and retrieve tires within the warehouse. • Use an RF scanner to scan and check incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy of product, quantities, and locations. • Perform put-aways by placing tires into the correct racking locations according to warehouse procedures. • Achieve and maintain productivity expectations, including putting away approximately 5560 tires per hour by the second or third week on the job. • Support shipping and receiving activities, including unloading incoming shipments and assisting with order picking as needed. • Handle tires and other materials manually as required, including repetitive lifting of items weighing 50+ pounds. • Follow all safety guidelines and material handling procedures to maintain a safe and organized work area. • Use reach trucks, order pickers, and cherry pick equipment as needed to access and store product. • Contribute to general labor tasks within the warehouse, such as staging, organizing, and preparing orders for shipment. • Maintain reliable attendance and adhere to scheduled shift times to support consistent warehouse operations. Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience operating a reach forklift or order picker. • Valid third-party certification on either a reach forklift or order picker. • Hands-on experience with RF scanners for receiving, picking, and inventory processes. • Proven ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift. • Experience in receiving operations, including placing tires or similar products back into racking. • Experience with stand-up forklifts and reach trucks in a warehouse environment. • Experience in shipping and receiving, order picking, and material handling. • Reliable attendance and ability to consistently work the scheduled shift. • Access to a personal vehicle for commuting, as the worksite is not transit accessible. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience using cherry pick equipment in a warehouse setting. • Previous work in a tire distribution or similar high-volume warehouse environment. • Comfort performing general labor tasks alongside equipment operation. • Ability to adapt to performance-based contract-to-hire arrangements. The position is contract-to-hire and depends on performance. The facility is not accessible by public transit, so employees commute using their own vehicles. Expect an active, physical environment that requires frequent lifting and movement throughout the shift. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Acheson, AB. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
