Warehouse Shift Operator | Distribution CenterPosition: Warehouse Shift OperatorEmployment Type: Full-TimeIndustry: Distribution & Warehouse OperationsOvertime: Available with Supervisor Approval Key Responsibilities
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and electric pallet jacks. • Load, unload, and stage products for customer deliveries. • Pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners and packing lists. • Build, wrap, and prepare pallets for shipment. • Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and product quality. • Perform cycle counts, stock checks, and inventory control tasks. • Replenish inventory and return products to designated storage locations. • Inspect products for damage, defects, or discrepancies. • Assist with receiving, shipping, and warehouse replenishment activities. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. • Follow company safety procedures and operating standards. • Work collaboratively with team members across multiple shifts. Required Qualifications
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, or electric pallet jacks. • Experience with order picking, packing, palletizing, and inventory handling. • Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems. • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs consistently. • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat throughout the shift. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. • Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in large distribution centers. • Shipping and receiving BG • Inventory control and cycle count experience. • Clamp truck operating experience. • Experience handling commercial and customer orders. • Ability to work overtime when required. Work Environment
• Large, high-volume distribution center. • Fast-paced warehouse setting with ongoing activity. • Exposure to moving equipment, loud noises, and varying temperatures. • Physical role requiring lifting, walking, standing, bending, and repetitive movements. • Use of forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and electric pallet jacks daily. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florence, NJ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
