Job Title: Quality Control InspectorPay: $25-$29Shift: M-F, 1pm-9pmLocation: Fremont, CAJob DescriptionThe Quality Control Inspector ensures that manufactured components and materials meet precise quality and dimensional standards. This role uses a variety of inspection tools and measurement systems, works in a cleanroom environment, interprets blueprints and GD&T, and prepares detailed inspection and quality reports for customers while interfacing with data collection and ERP systems.Responsibilities
• Use a wide range of inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, height stands, drop gauges, dial indicators, profilometers, CMMs, vision systems (such as Keyence, Cognex, Teledyne or similar), thread gauges, and pin gauges to perform accurate measurements. • Inspect materials and components in a cleanroom environment, following established procedures and cleanliness standards. • Read and interpret engineering blueprints and drawings to understand product specifications and tolerances. • Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to evaluate part conformance to specifications. • Interface with data collection systems to record, track, and analyze inspection results and quality metrics. • Interact with ERP systems to enter, retrieve, and update quality-related information and inspection records. • Use MS Office applications to prepare, maintain, and communicate inspection documentation and quality reports. • Perform First Article Inspections and create detailed quality reports for customers to demonstrate compliance with requirements. • Participate in inspection testing during the interview process to demonstrate proficiency with inspection tools and methods. • Collaborate with internal teams to support continuous improvement of inspection processes and product quality. Essential Skills

• Experience working in a machine shop or manufacturing environment. • Familiarity with automated and vision-based inspection systems such as Keyence, Cognex, or Teledyne. • Comfort with taking an inspection skills test as part of the interview process. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurement and documentation. • Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Fremont, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.70/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
