As a General Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. Responsibilities • Perform manual cleaning of machines during product changeovers. • Lift up to 50-pound bags of raw materials into hoppers. • Assist operators in running various machines. • Learn and adhere to proper GMP requirements and chemical safety practices. • Document production runs accurately. Essential Skills • 2+ years of general production experience. • 1+ years of GMP experience. • Ability to lift 50 pounds. • Experience with machine operation and general labor. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in mixing/blending of powders or liquids. • Previous experience with safe handling of sanitation chemicals. • Ability to read and write in English. • Basic mechanical aptitude. The shift hours are 7 on/7 off, Monday to Friday from 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM, and Saturday & Sunday from 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM. Safety attire includes a hair net, beard net, smock, steel-toed boots, gloves, hard hat, and safety glasses. Occasionally, you may need to enter a deep freezer at -55 Celsius. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
