Job Title: Warehouse Associate 1st ShiftJob DescriptionThis Warehouse Associate position supports a modern manufacturing operation that produces AC/DC drives for a wide range of industries. In this role, you work on the 1st shift in a brand-new, climate-controlled facility and handle a variety of warehouse functions, including order processing, shipping and receiving, material handling, and inventory transactions using RF scanners and ERP systems. You contribute directly to efficient production by ensuring materials are accurately picked, moved, and documented.Pay: 19/hrShift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, (Monday - Friday)Responsibilities
• Process internal orders by accurately picking parts and materials needed for production and other internal work orders. • Perform shipping and receiving duties, including preparing and verifying bills of lading (BOLs), packing slips, and related documentation. • Use RF scanners to track inventory movement, confirm picks, and maintain accurate records of materials in the warehouse. • Enter and update data in ERP systems, leveraging familiarity with platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft AX, or similar systems to manage inventory and transactions. • Operate forklifts (sit-down and stand-up), pallet jacks, and walkie riders to move, stage, and organize materials safely and efficiently. • Load and unload trucks carrying raw materials, components, and finished goods, ensuring proper handling and placement of items. • Handle materials throughout the warehouse, including staging, organizing, and replenishing inventory to support production needs. • Utilize pallet wrappers to securely wrap and prepare pallets for storage or shipment. • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of required personal protective equipment, and maintain a clean, organized work area. • Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve inventory issues, support production schedules, and improve warehouse processes. Essential Skills
• At least 2+ years of material handling or forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution environment. • At least 2+ years of experience loading and unloading materials from trucks or similar vehicles. • Proficiency operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and walkie riders in a safe and controlled manner. • Experience using RF scanners for inventory tracking, picking, packing, and shipping and receiving activities. • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft AX, or comparable platforms, for data entry and inventory management. • Demonstrated skills in order picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and general inventory control. • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis as part of daily warehouse operations. • High school diploma or GED required. • Comfort working with technology and being technologically savvy when using scanners, ERP systems, and other warehouse tools. The standard schedule for the facility includes a 2nd shift option running from 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday, illustrating a structured shift environment with extended workdays and regular hours. You work with forklifts, pallet jacks, walkie riders, RF scanners, and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft AX, all within a safety-focused setting. The dress code requires steel toe footwear and safety glasses, supported by steel toe reimbursement, and you operate pallet wrappers and other material handling equipment while adhering to established safety protocols. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Franklin, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.90/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
