Job Title: Manufacturing OperatorJob DescriptionJoin a global leader in life sciences and advanced manufacturing at the Charlotte facility, where you will support the production of filtration, purification, and gas-control products used in critical healthcare, life-science, and industrial applications. This role involves working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment where quality, safety, and contamination control are essential. Responsibilities • Operate production equipment and manufacturing processes in a cleanroom environment. • Assemble, package, process, and inspect life-science and filtration products. • Perform visual inspections and quality checks to ensure product specifications are met. • Follow detailed work instructions, manufacturing procedures, and compliance requirements. • Complete production documentation accurately. • Maintain cleanliness, contamination-control, and quality standards. • Work with specialty materials, chemicals, filtration media, or other production materials depending on the department. • Troubleshoot minor process issues and collaborate with teammates to resolve problems. • Support safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. • Adhere to strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards required in a life-sciences manufacturing environment. Essential Skills • Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, assembly, or industrial experience preferred. • Comfortable operating equipment and following standardized processes. • Experience in regulated manufacturing environments is a plus. • Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills. • Ability to follow detailed instructions and quality procedures. • Proven commitment to workplace safety and compliance. • Ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule (5:00 AM - 5:00 PM). • Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends. • Strong attendance and dependability. Additional Skills & Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED required. • Education verification required. • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. • Effective communication and teamwork skills. • Experience with cleanroom, medical device, pharmaceutical, filtration, textile, or extrusion manufacturing environments preferred. • Comfortable working around chemicals and specialty materials depending on assignment. • Ability to maintain production documentation accurately. Work EnvironmentWork in a cleanroom and regulated manufacturing environment, requiring standing and walking for extended periods throughout a 12-hour shift. Frequent lifting and movement of materials up to 50 pounds is necessary. The role involves exposure to manufacturing equipment, industrial noise, and varying temperatures. Some production areas may involve working around chemicals, filtration materials, or biological materials depending on the department. The work environment places a strong emphasis on contamination control, product quality, and safety compliance. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
