Job Title: Production AssociateJob DescriptionJoin a dynamic team as a Production Associate, where you will play a crucial role in supporting production manufacturing to meet customer deadlines. You will be responsible for acquiring job skills and learning company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to work in various departments as needed. Responsibilities • Perform testing, inspection, light assembly, machine operation, and packaging tasks. • Assemble components by hand, ensuring metrics related to the number of pieces assembled are met. • Support improvement initiatives and participate actively in enhancing the work environment. • Maintain quality standards by following company guidelines and customer specifications. • Monitor own work to ensure quality standards are met, eliminating scrap or rework. • Complete assignments within established timelines while maintaining quality. Essential Skills • Previous electronic manufacturing experience, including through hole or surface mount soldering. • Strong mechanical aptitude. • Basic computer skills, including navigating programs, using Excel for documentation, and Outlook. • Great attitude and willingness to be flexible. Additional Skills & Qualifications • High School diploma or equivalent GED is preferred. • One or more years of related experience preferred. • Competent in required job knowledge and skills to perform assigned tasks. • Good oral and written communication skills. • Attention to detail and ability to learn and complete different tasks. Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a manufacturing setting with suitable lighting and comfortable temperatures, accompanied by a moderate noise level. The role involves A shift hours from 6am to 6pm every other Wednesday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, requiring the ability to sit and/or stand for the duration of the shift. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nampa, ID. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
