Job Title: TIG Welder / Fabricator Shift: 1st shift - 7:00am-3:30pm Mon-Fri (Currently working 6am-4:30pm Mon-Fri) and some Saturdays for overtimePay: $23-$26/hr depending on skills/experienceLocation: Ocala, FL (34475)Job DescriptionThis role focuses on precision TIG welding and fabrication of stainless steel and aluminum components used in pump assemblies. You will weld and fabricate manifolds and housings that are critical to water flow systems, working from blueprints to build customized parts that meet tight tolerances in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding primarily on stainless steel and aluminum components, ensuring high-quality and consistent welds. • Weld manifolds that connect to pumps for water flow and aluminum housings that support large pump assemblies. • Read and interpret blueprints to understand specifications, dimensions, and weld requirements for each job. • Fabricate custom parts for each project, including measuring, fitting, and assembling components according to design. • Use grinding and cutting tools to prepare, shape, and finish parts as part of the fabrication process. • Maintain tolerances typically within ± 1/16 inch to meet strict quality and performance standards. • Perform out-of-position welding when required and work comfortably through 6G positions as needed. • Work with material thicknesses up to 1/4 inch, selecting appropriate techniques and settings for each application. • Inspect completed welds and fabricated parts for accuracy, structural integrity, and adherence to specifications. • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area in the shop environment. Essential Skills

• Proficient TIG welding experience on stainless steel and aluminum. • Hands-on fabrication experience, including fitting, assembling, and finishing metal components. • Ability to read and work from blueprints to produce accurate parts and assemblies. • Experience with grinding and cutting tools used in metal fabrication. • Capability to perform out-of-position welding and work comfortably in 6G welding positions. • Ability to maintain tight tolerances, typically within ± 1/16 inch. • Experience working with material thicknesses up to 1/4 inch. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
