Assembly Technician- Pay up to $22/hr- IN. Location: Indianapolis, IN Pay: $22/hrShift: 1st- 6:00 AM to 4:30 PMKey Responsibilities
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and production documents. • Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to specifications. • Use hand tools and power tools to build products. • Measure and mark steel using a tape measure. • Track and update production orders using a computer. • Operate fabrication equipment such as drill presses and saws. • Perform basic electrical wiring and electrical assembly tasks. • Support fabrication activities including drilling, sawing, and grinding. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Required Qualifications
• Experience reading blueprints and production drawings. • Mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience. • Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely. • Proficient with tape measurements and material layout. • Basic computer skills. • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Preferred Qualifications
• Fabrication experience. • Experience in a job shop or custom manufacturing environment. • Ability to read electrical or mechanical schematics. • Electrical wiring experience. • Experience with drill presses, saws, and grinding equipment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN 46235. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
