Quality Inspector Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector who is familiar with Brake Press machines, measuring angles, and proficient in using hand and power tools, mics, calipers, and protractors. A basic understanding of high school math is essential. You will follow engineering drawings to ensure their accuracy for the parts. Experience in sheet metal is highly desirable.Responsibilities
• Perform inspections of parts through different stages of production to confirm conformance to specifications. • Record inspection results and prepare documentation. • Communicate with stakeholders as required. • Perform other duties as required. • Be willing to be cross-trained and able to lift up to 35 pounds. Essential Skills
• Quality inspection • Blueprint reading • Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and tape measures • General labor skills • Visual inspection • Quality check • Production knowledge • Quality control and assurance • Assembly and final inspection skills Additional Skills & Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED • Experience with inspection tools (calipers, height gauge, micrometers) preferred • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred • Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, blueprints, and drawings • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time • Ability to perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time • Physical capability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally, twist, bend, and carry parts • Basic math skills (ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide) • Basic computer skills (ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel) • Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team • Detail-oriented and dependable • Ability to cross-train in other departments and work overtime as needed Why Work Here?Join a growing business with numerous opportunities for personal and professional growth. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
