Job Title: Production Packaging AssociateJob DescriptionThe Production Packaging Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the proper packaging of materials and finished products within our dynamic manufacturing environment. This entry-level position requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices and teamwork to maintain high-quality production standards. Responsibilities • Demonstrate safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies. • Show punctuality and adhere to the work schedule. • Collaborate effectively with team members and demonstrate a teamwork attitude. • Comply with company General Manufacturing Policies. • Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area. • Monitor conveyor belts and clear bottle jams from production lines. • Pick up dropped bottles from the production floor and place them into designated bins. • Place discarded bottles into the grinder when applicable. • Inspect the quality of bottles during production, packaging, and labeling. • Perform bottle inspections, such as drop tests for designated lines. • Immediately escalate any bottle abnormalities, defects, and quality issues when found. • Monitor supply levels of packaging materials and replenish as needed. • Ensure correct labeling, bottle description, and packaging in accordance with customer requirements. • Move finished goods to designated areas. • Ensure efficient setup and organization of workstations. • Maintain inventory levels and restock supplies to facilitate smooth transitions between shifts. • Other duties as assigned by management, noting that duties may vary by plant based on equipment and design. Essential Skills • Proficiency in stacking material, operating inspection machines, and using shrink wrap. • Capability in pick & pack tasks and responsible packaging of materials and finished products. • Experience in loading, moving material, and operating packaging equipment. • Familiarity with conveyor systems and quality control processes. • Skill in labeling and ensuring product description accuracy. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
