Job Title: Shipping and Receiving / Inventory AssociateJob DescriptionThis role focuses on supporting warehouse operations through accurate shipping and receiving activities, inventory counting, and organizing parts. You will help ensure that incoming and outgoing materials are processed correctly, parts are stored efficiently, and racking systems are set up to keep the warehouse safe, organized, and productive. Responsibilities • Receive incoming shipments by unloading trucks and ensuring all materials are handled safely and efficiently. • Verify incoming and outgoing orders against documentation to ensure accuracy in quantity, description, and condition. • Count, track, and maintain inventory to support accurate inventory control and minimize discrepancies. • Move, organize, and stage parts within the warehouse to support efficient picking, packing, and order fulfillment. • Assist in breaking down and setting up racking systems to optimize warehouse layout and storage capacity. • Perform kitting of parts by assembling components and materials according to order requirements. • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in line with established procedures and quality standards. • Use ERP systems and data entry tools to record inventory movements, update order status, and maintain accurate records. • Support general labor tasks in the warehouse, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a safe work area. • Collaborate with team members and follow established processes to ensure smooth daily warehouse operations. Essential Skills • Experience in shipping and receiving operations, including unloading trucks and processing orders. • Hands-on experience with inventory control, including counting, tracking, and organizing parts. • Ability to perform picking, packing, and kitting tasks accurately and efficiently. • Comfort with general warehouse labor, including moving materials and assisting with racking setup. • Basic data entry skills and ability to work with ERP or similar inventory management systems. • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory records. • Ability to follow established procedures and work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Forklift experience is a plus, though it is not required for this role and you will not operate a forklift currently. • Prior experience in order selection, packaging, and inventory management is beneficial. • Familiarity with warehouse processes and best practices for material handling and storage. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet operational goals. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
