Job Title: Construction LaborerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Construction Laborer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, learning hands-on skills, and contributing to construction projects from start to finish. No prior construction experience is required; training will be provided for the right candidate with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Responsibilities • Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks. • Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment. • Perform site cleanup and maintain a safe, organized work environment. • Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision. • Assist with demolition, framing, and general carpentry activities. • Prepare and stage materials for installation. • Follow project plans, directions, and safety procedures. • Help install, repair, and maintain building components as needed. • Complete tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards. • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. Additional Skills & Qualifications • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred. • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds. • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. • Previous experience with hand tools, power tools, landscaping, construction, or related labor work is a plus but not required. The company is a small, family-owned general contractor willing to train and mentor people into the trades. Teams consist of 2-4 crew sizes. The workday starts at 5:00 am at the shop, aiming to be on projects by 6:30/7:00 am, ending at 3:30 pm normally, currently extending to 5:00 pm to catch up on projects, with occasional weekend work. Dress code includes work boots and pants. Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses is provided. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Livingston, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
