Job Title: Cleanroom Technician - Weekend ShiftJob DescriptionWe are seeking dedicated individuals to join our weekend shift team from September 2026 to April 2027, with hours from 6:00am to 6:30pm Friday through Sunday. Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 in a rewarding environment. Responsibilities • Work in Building 1 in either the Automatic Plates Room (APR) or Manual Plates Room (MPR), where you will be involved in the production of media dispensed into petri dishes. • Handle and clean petri dishes and may encounter sheep blood in bags. • In the Tubes (TVS) department, duties include sorting, packaging, labeling, and palletizing without the need for a full bunny suit. • Perform repetitive lifting, twisting, and pushing of up to 30 lbs. • Complete paperwork and perform basic math calculations using a calculator. • Maintain quality assurance, production standards, and documentation of packaging procedures. Essential Skills • Minimum of 6 months experience in production or manufacturing. • Ability to work on your feet for the entire shift. • Basic English language skills for reading, writing, and speaking. • Comfort with working in a production manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in a cleanroom environment is a plus. • Familiarity with GMP, assembly, and manufacturing processes. • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Work EnvironmentThe work environment is climate controlled and may have a yeast or vinegar smell in Building 1. Certain areas can be loud, with earplugs provided as needed. Work involves small group collaborations or independent tasks. Safety shoes (steel or composite), jeans, t-shirts, and sweatshirts are required, with hair nets, safety glasses, and surgical face masks provided and required by the company. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.55 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
