($23-25/HR)Large company with opportunity for growth looking for MATERIAL HANDLERS to join their team.Pay: $23-25/HRLocation: Rutherford, NJShift: 4:30pm-3am Monday-Thursday & Overtime on Friday*Must be able to train 6am-4:30pm for 2-3 weeks *Must be open to working overtime on weekends when neededJob Description:
• Experience with material handling tasks such as weighing, packing, labeling, and documenting shipments • Ability to operate or work around forklifts in a warehouse or production environment, following safety procedures • Demonstrated attention to detail when inspecting packages and containers and completing shipping documentation • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to support accurate documentation and coordination • Ability to exercise good judgment related to safety and consistently adhere to workplace safety regulations • Basic math skills to verify counts, weights, and quantities for orders and shipments • Basic computer and keyboarding skills to work within an ERP or similar system for data entry and record keeping • Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments • Move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently • Maintain accurate inventory records through RF scanners and warehouse management systems • Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities • Verify materials against packing slips, bills of lading (BOLs), and shipping documentation • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards *Position is a fulltime and permanent role*Company has great benefits and 401k plan*You can start work immediately as there is no interviewPLEASE APPLY IMMEDIATELY TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE!
