Job Title: Industrial PainterPay: 27-30 / hourShift: 1st (5am-3:30pm) or 2nd (1:00pm-11:30pm)Location: Orlando, FL 32809Job DescriptionThis role focuses on applying high-quality industrial coatings to manufactured parts using spray equipment and related tools. You ensure all finishes meet customer specifications and internal quality standards while working with processes such as auto-body painting, powder coating, and sandblasting.Responsibilities

• Apply industrial coatings to manufactured parts using spray guns, paint sprayers, and related equipment. • Prepare parts for painting through sanding, blasting, and grit blasting to achieve proper surface conditions. • Operate and work within paint booths and blasting areas in accordance with safety and quality procedures. • Complete VOC and quality documentation accurately and on time to maintain compliance with internal and external requirements. • Perform detailed visual inspections of painted parts to ensure finish quality, coverage, and adherence to specifications. • Handle industrial paints, powder coatings, and related materials safely and efficiently. • Support 5S, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives by maintaining a clean, organized work area and suggesting process improvements. • Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production schedules and quality targets. • Use industrial painting and sandblasting equipment, including final painting equipment, in line with established work instructions. Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in auto paint and body, industrial manufacturing painting, or sandblasting. • Proficiency in industrial painting techniques, including use of spray guns and paint sprayers. • Hands-on experience with paint preparation, including sanding, blasting, and grit blasting. • Ability to work in paint booths and industrial paint environments safely and efficiently. • Experience with prepping parts and operating final painting equipment. • Capability to complete VOC and quality documentation with attention to detail. • Strong visual inspection skills to assess finish quality and identify defects. • Ability to support and work within 5S and Lean manufacturing practices. • Willingness and ability to undergo Respirator Fit testing and Pulmonary Function testing as required for the role. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Technical, vocational, or military training related to painting, coatings, or industrial manufacturing is a plus but not required. • Experience with powder coating processes and equipment. • Skills in auto-body painting or refinishing. • Familiarity with sandblasting and industrial blasting equipment. • Comfort working with industrial paints, powder coat materials, and related chemicals. • Understanding of basic manufacturing quality standards and documentation practices. The primary work area is air conditioned, providing a comfortable environment for painting and preparation tasks. At times, you may need to go outside to the yard to access materials, where conditions are not air conditioned. You will work around industrial painting and blasting equipment, paint booths, and related machinery, following established safety protocols and using appropriate protective equipment, including respirators when required. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
