Cheese Operations Machine Operator (Full-Time with Benefits)
Job Description: This role will be responsible for safely operating and troubleshooting production equipment within our Cheese Operations while serving as the working leader for the assigned production line. Food Quality, Food Safety, and Employee Safety are essential to ensuring customer expectations and production goals are met.
You’ll also be responsible for: • Operating, monitoring, adjusting, changing over, cleaning, and troubleshooting a variety of cheese processing and packaging equipment while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards
• Leading day-to-day line activities by providing task direction, supporting employee training, coordinating workflow, and assisting with production execution
• Completing required quality checks, production documentation, inventory transactions, and Lot Track & Trace requirements to ensure product compliance
• Supporting food safety, GMPs, Continuous Improvement initiatives, housekeeping standards, and compliance with all company safety programs and operating procedures
Qualifications: We're looking for a self-motivated individual who can work independently, lead by example, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or GED required; relevant production, machine operation, or manufacturing experience preferred • Ability to safely perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 pounds
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate, troubleshoot, and learn a variety of production equipment
• Effective communication, basic math, and problem-solving skills with the ability to follow specifications, procedures, and quality standards
