Job summary This is a leadership role responsible for managing the Income team. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of robust financial planning, reporting, and income management in compliance with statutory obligations and professional accounting standards. This role is pivotal to maintaining the Trust's financial viability and its ability to continue delivering essential services. Lead, motivate, and manage the income team to achieve organisational objectives. Oversee the provision of financial planning, ensuring compliance with statutory and professional standards. Support the Trust's financial sustainability by monitoring budgets, preparing statutory reports, and evaluating projects
Main duties of the job Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial colleagues. Extensive experience in a managerial role, including line management responsibilities. Proven track record of working in the public sector, with experience in budget monitoring and preparation. CCAB qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field. Experience in preparing statutory reports for internal and external purposes. Demonstrated ability to manage contract negotiations and evaluate projects effectively The post holder will also, on occasion, act as deputy for the Associate Director of Finance on financial matters in their absence and, on occasions.

High Cost Area Supplement Outer London (B&D, Redbridge, Havering and Waltham Forest, Goodmayes) This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,870 to a maximum of £6,137 p.a. pro rata for part time).
