Remote Recruitment is hiring an Onboarding Coordinator for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa.
Role overview
You'll run the new starter journey for a UK employer — from offer letter to first week — so every hire arrives with contract signed, checks cleared and induction booked.
A new starter's first impression of the business is largely your work. Done well, they arrive knowing where to be, what to expect and who to ask.
You will work UK business hours from home, as part of a South African team placed directly with established UK employers.
Key responsibilities
Issue offer letters, contracts and new starter documentationRun right to work and reference checks and track completionSet up new starters on the HR system and payrollCoordinate induction schedules with hiring managers and ITChase outstanding paperwork before day oneReport on onboarding progress and time-to-startWhat you'll need
Experience with onboarding, HR administration or recruitment coordinationFamiliarity with an HRIS such as BambooHR, HiBob or WorkableConfident handling confidential employee data correctlyStrong follow-up discipline across many simultaneous startersClear, warm written English for candidate communicationNice to have
