Remote Recruitment is hiring an E-commerce Assistant for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa.
Role overview
You'll keep a UK online store running day to day — loading products, keeping listings accurate, processing orders and handling the customer queries that come with them.
The store changes daily — new lines, price moves, promotions and returns. You will keep all of it accurate so customers see the right product at the right price.
You will work UK business hours from home, as part of a South African team placed directly with established UK employers.
Key responsibilities
Create and update product listings, images and descriptionsKeep pricing, stock levels and categories accurate across the storeProcess orders, returns and refundsRespond to customer queries about orders and productsSupport promotions, discount codes and seasonal campaignsReport on sales, traffic and best-selling linesWhat you'll need
Experience with an e-commerce platform such as Shopify, WooCommerce or MagentoConfident writing clear, accurate product copyComfortable in Excel or Google Sheets for bulk product uploadsAttention to detail on pricing, stock and product dataCustomer-focused written EnglishNice to have
