About this role
• Data processing and manipulation within underwriting tools.
• Assist with, data analysis and other quantitative exercises which inform the portfolio management process whilst assisting in maintaining internal exposure monitoring systems.
• Ability to learn and understand complex coverage and contract language.
• Assist the underwriters with maintaining underwriting files and support with contract documentation.
• Compilation of underwriting referral documents and note taking.
• Attend client and broker underwriting meetings where requested.
• Preparation of presentations and report running.
• Assist in the development, testing and maintenance of in-house software applications.
• Adhere to operational standards of the department set by underwriting guidelines and authorities.
• Carry out claims capture and reporting duties.
• Other duties as may be assigned.
