Engagement Details: Employment type: Temporary contract Contract Duration: 6 months Work Schedule: Full-Time Work Location: US Remote Summary/Objective: The OpenText Extended ECM for Engineering Consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and managing a OpenText Extended ECM platform tailored for engineering stateflows with a heavy focus on the ECN/FCN process. This role will collaborate directly with engineers across many functional areas and serve as the primary liaison between the engineering team and the OpenText support team. The ideal candidate is a technical expert in OpenText solutions with a strong understanding of engineering processes and enterprise architecture. While this is a remote position, it is required that the candidate be fully available between 9am and 5pm EST on all US working days. Also, the candidate must be able to pass Federal background checks as required by NERC/FERC regulations. Solution Design: Architect and implement OpenText Extended ECM for Engineering solutions to support engineering document management, project execution, and asset lifecycle processes. Workflow/ Stateflow Optimization: Design and configure state-based workflows to automate document reviews, approvals, and change management processes. Technical Leadership: Provide expertise on content repository setup, metadata management, security frameworks, and scalability to meet business needs. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to enable secure collaboration between internal engineering teams and external partners via Business Workspaces and secure file-sharing tools. Performance Monitoring: Leverage dashboards and analytics to monitor system performance, workflow efficiency, and project progress, recommending improvements as needed. Documentation & Training: Develop technical documentation and provide training to end-users and IT teams on system capabilities and best practices.
