About this role
As an Avionics Manufacturing Engineer at Impulse , you will work with cross-discipline teams to build electromechanical assemblies. You will own the build and acceptance testing of electromechanical assemblies in production. Your expertise will directly impact the reliability and performance of the systems we send into orbit and beyond. Leveling will be commensurate with experience. Develop, document, and optimize manufacturing processes for electromechanical assemblies that include circuit boards, antennas, battery packs, reaction wheels and enclosures Collaborate with avionics design engineers to ensure manufacturability, DFM/DFA of electromechanical assemblies Collaborate with cross functional teams on quality and long-term reliability Provide day-to-day support for the production floor, resolving build issues, updating work instructions, and improving yield Provide guidance to electromechanical assembly technicians Own environmental and functional acceptance testing of electromechanical assembly (vibe, TVAC) in production Set up, operate, and troubleshoot hardware acceptance testing (ATP) in a fast-paced environment Experience with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and assembly documentation
